Launching September 19th ctrl / London’s newest underground house and techno event, as we get set to take over the cavernous arches of Hidden nightclub in Vauxhall, one of the capitals finest venues with one of the loudest and crispest sound systems around.
To celebrate our audio assault on the nations capital is Berlin-based French dj and producer SHONKY currently signed to the world renowned Freak n ‘Chic record label, having also enjoyed underground smash hits for Mobilee, as he continues on his world tour which has seen him take in some of the globes hottest clubbing destinations including Madrid, Paris, New York, Berlin, Ibiza and now London as we expect a special set from a rare British performance.
Joining Shonky under the main arch is one of Scotland’s biggest rising talents, Glaswegian GARY BECK, whose hit tune ‘consumed’ had countless dance floors rocking, something that wasn’t missed from minimal techno pioneer Richie Hawtin who promptly signed him up to his M_nus label. September 19th will see Gary's debut London appearance and is definitely one not to be missed!
Our third major act for the night is one of London’s finest exports, Zoo Project Ibiza resident & headliner SAYTEK who will performing his trademark (live) set having just spent another season thrilling clubbers high in the hills of San Antonio Ibiza at the old abandoned zoo with his deep underground house sound in one of his first appearances upon his return from the white isle.
Joining our headline acts will be ctrl residents DALE HOWARD and LEEKS, whose tunes continue to be ever present on the techno/ tech-house charts of Beatport, and whose stock is continuing to rise thanks to appearances at some of the biggest nightclubs in Britain including Area 51 in Manchester and Ministry of Sound in London as well as several international appearances including Ibiza.
Over in the Bar we have London-based FHD RECORDS showcase the hottest talent they possess, including the experienced Ministry of Sound resident and label owner CHASE BUCH, as he prepares to take ctrl on a journey through the finest underground house and techno, something regulars to Ministry of Sound will bear witness to.
Joining Chase are stable mates LEVAN; having recently returned from Japan representing the label, together with NICK OLIVETTI in what promises to be an incredible night of the finest underground sounds and talent around.
Interest has already been huge for the launch night and is sure to be an absolute sell-out! There are a very limited number of £5 early bird tickets available online, with standard £9 advance tickets also on sale.
