Taking place in our very own underground cavernous sanctuary in East London,The Bop Shop will recreate the early 1980s NYC disco vibe that became so popular. With It's Brooklyn style basement space with low ceiling and top notch sound system, it is the perfect place to recreate the 80s disco house feel.
Disco has been pumped up by the new wave of 80s, chunked up by the French house of the 90s and showered in sleaze by the electro of the noughties, but it's preserved it's hand clappin, base slapping essence throughout four decades of tinkering.
This isn't a 70s and 80s theme night as such but contemporary dance music heavily influenced by disco and funk, encompassing a wide range of Sounds, from string laden epics to early house.
Who better to dance away too than Hoxton Whores. The guys will be laying down a hypnotic selection of disco and house, with a spellbounding set assured.
The bar in the meantime will be stocked with a fine selection of classic cocktails, wine and beer to help you along into the early hours.
