Subtrakt and Barsoma join forces once again to bring you the best in underground electronic music. This time round we are proud to announce Vincenzo.
Vincenzo started his dj career playing in small clubs and private parties around Hamburg and before long his talents were noticed by Steve Bug. He was invited by Bug to play at the "Reduced" parties at Hamburg's cult club F.R.O.N.T. Alongside his djing he began producing music and released his first single at the end of 1995 with Sandro Catallo called "Brunchbox EP" on Steve Bug's label Raw Elements.
He has since worked with such artists as Duffer Swift, Alexi Delano, Ian Pooley, DJ Rasoul and John Buckby aka Schmoov and released tracks on labels such as Raw Elements, Transport, Naked Music, Liebe* Detail, Winding Road, Dessous Recordings and Poker Flat to name but a few.
After living and producing in Barcelona for a few years, Vincenzo moved to Berlin in the summer of 2007. Now back in Germany, he finished a dj mix for a new double album on Dessous Recordings called "Dessous Best Kept Secrets", which featured his own tracks "The Resident" and "Fugism" alongside exclusive and successfull tunes from Dessous' 12th season.
Vincenzo's own productions are played frequently in clubs worldwide and he has gained alot of international respect as a dj by rocking dance floors all over the world. I'm sure Brisbane will be no different.
Local support will come from YokoO (PlusMinus/Fanfare/22Digit) and Subtrakt residents Rikki Newton and Adam Swain.
