- For our Easter special of Night Thing, we'll be exploring the rich musical heritage of Brazil. A country famed for its development of the musical styles of samba, bossa nova, tropicália and disco, our resident DJs will be playing all kinds of hidden south American treasures that will transport you to the party streets of Rio. For this edition of Beat Of Brazil we welcome the UK's premier samba percussion squad Rhythms Of The City. Performing not only authentic carnival samba, but many other funky styles ranging from salsa and soca to reggae and funk, their energetic live performances and Brazilian party rhythms will help in bringing the beat of Brazil to life! ___ Admission to Jazz Cafe is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder, you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting Jazz Cafe after the event at [email protected]. If advance tickets are sold out, there will be plenty available on the door from 22:30 so feel free to walk up. We recommend getting down early to avoid queues.
