Featuring a Seattle debut DJ performance by Romania’s Melodie (Metereze, RORA) with support by Seattle’s own Raica (Further Records). Plus Shameless, Grounded & subMerge resident DJ/VJs.
Fifteen years ago, Shameless started off as a weekly underground dance night in the basement of the Alibi Room and has since become one of the NW’s most respected underground dance music collectives by throwing numerous legendary club nights, afterparties, Decibel Festival events, day parties and other shenanigans. From day one, each Shameless party was a special one regardless of the wide ranges of genres and bookings represented. With an eye towards the cutting edge, but deep respect from electronic music’s rich history, Shameless has kept its finger on the pulse of Seattle’s underground for the past decade and a half and yet keeps looking forward.
This year Shameless will be breaking tradition and yet at the same time remaining true to its history. They will be putting the “My Bloody Valentine is Shameless” party series on hold this year, while collaborating with their friends at Grounded and subMerge for their 15-year anniversary party. Collaborating with others has been a long-standing practice for Shameless so it’s fitting for the 3 crews to be teaming up for the birthday celebration. For year 15, this event will be geared towards the heads. The underground is home and that’s where we’ll be celebrating this year. One room, one love.
