After devoting almost his entire life to music, it’s no surprise that Roman Flügel is one of the biggest names in the German electronic music scene. His sets forge a unique path through 20 years of contemporary music, from house and quirky techno to futuristic Italo-disco and electronica. Emerging in the 90s Flügel has put out acclaimed works under several aliases, and was largely responsible for bringing a light on Frankfurt’s underground scene.
A long standing conductor of dance floor hypnosis. For most DJs, this means long transitions and letting tracks play out. Instead of blending similar styles, Flügel blends contrasting moods. This makes for exceptional transitions, changing the sound often without sacrifycing flow. On Saturday 31st March, Flügel takes control of the third show of the Perpetual series, playing all night long.
