This March Reculture is returning to The Steelyard for Reculture II. Once again we are bringing a powerful lineup of House & Techno's best, great artwork and a special production rig.
Steve Lawler now known simply as 'Lawler' needs no introduction. The VIVa Music Boss once dubbed 'The King of Space [Ibiza]' has managed to remain one of House & Techno's most prominent figures since the mid-90s. As relevant today as ever Lawler contiunes to release music on labels such ranging from House's Hot Creations and Play it Say it, to Techno heavyweight labels Cocoon and Drumcode, Play It Say it. His label VIVa Music remains one of The Scene's best having built a strong reputation for signing breakthrough talent.
Dynamic, driven and obsessed with performing, as well as he possibly can - Steve's passion for House, Techno and Electronica is too strong for one simple generic association.
A Motor City, Berlin, London hybrid, Ryan Crosson is a complex artistic creature. Equal parts energetic, down to earth Detroit native and ultra refined, musical aesthete, Ryan has one ear to the club and one ear far, far beyond. Alongside Lee Curtis and Shaun Reeves, Ryan is responsible for running Visionquest Records, one of dance music's most cherished and eclectic imprints.
The now Brooklyn based DJ is known for taking his powerful, eclectic sets to the worlds most renowned venues. His sound expands the horizon of possibility without sacrificing dance music's core element of sweaty, hedonistic fun.
One of dance music’s most unique and standout artists, Kate Simko combines her Chicago house background with a melange of influences. In 2014 Kate completed a masters in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music and launched her genre-bending project London Electronic Orchestra, which has made waves at iTunes Festival, LEAF festival, Latitude Festival, Heart Ibiza, and most recently a show stopping performance at the iconic Festival No 6. Followed by her acclaimed Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra 2016 album.
Kate's eclectic take on House Music has made her one of the most sought after DJs on the scene. She is used to only the best clubs and venues and we are excited to have her with us this March.
