- It's a Lumberjacks In Hell love-in this weekend as we welcome two of the revered Dutch label's heavy hitters in the shape of Mr Mendel and Marcel Vogel. Both architects of melodic and light disco and house, Mendel's touch has been heard across countless edits for the likes of James Brown, Nina Simone and Fela Kuti, whilst Vogel broke through last year with the anthemic 'I Got Jesus'. ___ Admission to Jazz Cafe is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder, you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting Jazz Cafe after the event at [email protected]. If advance tickets are sold out, there will be plenty available on the door from 22:30 so feel free to walk up. We recommend getting down early to avoid queues.
