Look at us! We’re foolish enough to do it again! Goose Island Beer Co. & the Empty Bottle present Music Frozen Dancing 2018, our annual winter block party with some of the best artists around that are also brave enough to play outside in the frozen Chicago streets. This year’s sure to be another wild one, with west coast psych-rockers OH SEES headlining and Detroit’s synth-rock duo ADULT. as direct support. Plus opening sets by the high-octane B BOYS from Brooklyn, DJ TAYE of Chicago’s Teklife and C.H.E.W. of local punk royalty.
This marks the fifth year of Music Frozen Dancing, presented in partnership with our pals at Goose Island Beer Co. If you're somehow not familiar, this annual event is a block party and mini-festival held outside our doors in the dead of winter. We’re taking it to the streets once again, for one afternoon and one afternoon only.
Same as last year, Bite Café joins in on the fun serving chili outside from the soon-to-be reigning champion of our Annual Chili-Synth Cook Off. Sales from the chili will go to benefit Chicago Coaliton for the Homeless.
If standing outside in the cold all day sounds too intimidating, find sweet/hot relief inside at the bar, where Lumpen Radio DJs will be providing the tropical vibes. The Goose Island brews will be flowing indoors and out, so drink up and warm that chilly heiny of yours.
Gates open at 1pm and it costs you ZERO DOLLAR$ to get in. The event is all ages, so bring the kids and scar them for life… Olé!
