Lapsus Festival marks its fifth edition by strengthening its commitment to avant-garde electronic music and renewing its pledge as a unique selector that provides alternative music trends to other festivals taking place in the city. Lapsus focuses on comfort and quality and seeks to avoid the trappings of large crowd formats.
Lapsus Festival increases its number of days. Friday 6 will feature a very special program dedicated to electronic music pioneers including: German artist and krautrock legend, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, who will exclusively present his new show "En Este Instante"; the visionary American producer and father of the punk sound Craig Leon, will, for the first time in Barcelona, perform music from his albums "Nommos" and "Kanon"; and experimental Hispano-Norwegian duo N.M.O will also perform. The opening day’s program will take place at the CCCB Theatre -co-producer of the event since its inception-. Meanwhile, the night-time schedule will also be extended, taking place for the first time at LAUT, the incredible space located in the centre of Barcelona, equipped with the latest generation sound system. On Friday night Lapsus at LAUT will present a showcase from Portuguese label Príncipe Discos, with Dj Lilocox and Dj NinOo closing the April 6 program.
