『Space BaghdadがプロデュースするS.Cが、Voitaxを招致』
現行ベルリンテクノのオブスキュアな側面を代表するレーベルの一つであるVoitax。
リリースはレコードのみに限定され、そのコレクティブによるイベントもベルリンを中心に注目を集めている。
今回はレーベル所属のアーティスト4名が一堂に会する希少な機会となる。
また、ソウルにてConstant Valueを主宰し、ここContactでも過去に幾度も好演を重ねてきたEEXXPPOANNも登場する。

The record label and party collective “Voitax” based in Berlin, releasing only vinyl, has been gaining a reputation for its obscure and experimental sounds.
For this rendition of S.C, 4 artists from the label, as well as the man behind Seoul’s “Constant Value” Eexxppoann will be bringing some heat to Contact.
・Makaton
Biography:
Steve Bailey – aka Makaton – has been releasing influential, experimental and cutting-edge techno music since 1998 with all but a few of his releases coming through his own Rodz-Konez operation, a label that’s released music by Regis, Inigo Kennedy, The 65D Mavericks, etc. Makaton also releas- es music on James Ruskin’s Blueprint, as well as Token and RSB. Underground and uncompromising to the core, Makaton’s music is consistently supported and charted by Surgeon, Dave Clarke and James Ruskin, among other techno luminaries. Makaton’s exhilarating liveset has seen him bolster the techno scene across the UK, Europe and in the US.
・Cressida
Biography:
Drawing influence from dubstep, grime, and the harsher sounds lent to strains of metal and hard- core, Cressida originated out of the London underground and developed his own individual style of producing music. After choosing Berlin as his new home and creative work place, he had his debut release on Voitax with his first Solo EP »A Hymn To Lust« in Spring 2017, followed by a release on Syncretism Records and LDNwht. While demonstrating a talent for producing eclectic and powerful music – Cressida is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
・Paàl
Biography:
Paàl, also known as one of the founders of the label VOITAX, is an artist that devotes all of his passion to the sounds that he creates and the music that he supports. The focus in his creations, such as in strong and diversified sets aswell as on his label, is always on the sound, on the art piece itself andless on the artist behind it. So while he keeps it mystical around him heuses his interest in the diversity of electronic music for the tracks that he produces and the sets he puts together by mainly sticking to the good old vinyl. Paàl stands for electronica in all its inten- sity and diversity, that he constantly tries to introduce to a crowd that appreciates his unique sounds. Through this he intends to connect a crowd of music lovers in which he shares his passion with us in various ways.
・Rory St John
Biography:
From early days of hardcore and hard dance, Rory‘s interest was always focused on producing unique and new sonic spaces, which has taken him through a range of styles and faces over the years, with key releases on labels, Singularity and Acroplane. After an extended hiatus under his artist-name- by-birth, Rory St John is back to where he left off, creating rhythmic racket which often spans genre or tempo. Influenced by the purity of the techno sound, releases under his own name con- centrate on expression as a form of self-purge. Absolution over resolution. Discharge, recharge, better out than in.
・Eexxppoann
Eexxppoann is a new techno producer/dj based in Seoul. 'Eexxppoann' is the abbreviation for 'Exponential Expansion', which is the initial physical process of the big bang. As a director of the experimental techno party Constant Value, he aims to create techno sounds with structural and spatial experiments. This is also due to his other profession: apart from being a musician he works as an architect. His music and architecture simultaneously evolve structurally and aesthetically coinciding.
He recently released EP [Phenomenal Reality] from Absolute Records in Italy. It includes three experimental techno tracks including [Strato], [XSP MMXV I] and [Borderline XXI II].
