Basic Soul Unit
Hong Kong born and raised in Canada, Basic Soul Unit has been steadily making his mark in underground electronic music circles since his first release in 2003. Stuart grew up listening to Toronto’s college radio stations and attended after hours parties playing underground house music. He later worked at Cosmos Records store which dealt vintage Jazz, Soul, Funk, Latin, Brazilian, Disco, House & Hip Hop to crate diggers both local and from abroad. Reflecting his diverse interest in music, Stuart's house & techno productions can swing from lush and soulful to crunchy and jacking.
Stuart's strength as a DJ is his versatility. Depending on the night and the crowd, he can throw down melodic techno, heavy jacking and industrial sounds, deep house, disco, and often a combination of these. Basic Soul Unit has also been performing live over the last 2 years. Stuart’s live set expresses the rawness and honesty of his productions. Expect soulful melodies and squelching acid basslines intertwining with roughhewn beats & jacking rhythms. Stuart has performed or DJed at some of the world’s most respected clubs and festivals including Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabric (London), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Zukunft (Zurich), Weetamix (Geneva), Zouk (Singapore), Mutek (Montreal), Decibel (Seattle) and more.
He has released and remixed music on respected labels such as Nonplus+, Dolly, Philpot, Mathematics, Mule Electronic, Versatile, Ostgut Ton, Créme Organization & New Kanada. Cassy recently included 2 of Stuart’s tracks on her Fabric 71 mix CD for Fabric London. 2013 also marked the inaugural ep release of his own label Lab.our which he started with long time friend Jason Ulrich. In 2015, Stuart released his Sophomore album 'Under The Same Sky' on the respected Dekmantel label.

Trinity
True to its name, the story of Trinity is one best told in three parts.
As a live performer, she has appeared at some of the biggest clubs and festivals – Tresor and Tomorrowland to name but two, and has regularly shared the billing alongside names like Dasha Rush, Vril and Marcel Dettmann.
Her DJing and live show has taken her to India, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium, Bali, Malta and Spain – but it was her joining with Richie Hawtin during the Vivid Festival at Sydney’s Opera House in 2017 that was yet another breakout moment for the Sydney-based but seemingly always Berlin-bound flyer.
Outside of her live gigs and heavy production schedule, she’s busy supporting and promoting the techno scene in her home town of Sydney. As well as cultivating new up and coming local talent, she has also brought a steady stream of the best to the Harbour city, including Artefakt, Peter Van Hoesen, Steffi, Eli Verveine and Virginia. 2017 also saw her start working officially as A&R for record label Nightime Drama running various Nightime Drama events in Sydney.
Each show brings with it a unique type of techno versatility: from dub techno soundscapes, minimal and Chicago house, to straight up techno - all combining to make for a distinct and oft-moving performance.
Trinity is the thinking musician’s musician, and hers is a star that is rising. From the pride and care evident in all her productions, to the ability to get a dance floor absolutely heaving — she is a musical force to be experienced, savoured and enjoyed.
