For the next instalment of Jazz Sundays at Pickle Factory, we invite leftfield percussionist and tabla-player Rathisa. Having collaborated with improv legends Karl Berger and Ingrid Sertso, as well as a wealth of Indian classical musicians, he’ll now be joined by Danalogue - one half of duo Soccer96 and a third of Shabaka Hutchings’ acclaimed jazz-dance trio, the Comet is Coming. Brought together by a mutual love of the offbeat, psychedelic and analogue, they promise a delightful evening of interplay and experimentation.
Joining them is Wildflower - taking inspiration from Jazz’s cosmic greats, the trio’s compositional influences range from Gnawa to Bengali folk music. Using simple, arresting melodies as a starting point, they unify through spontaneous communication and musical chemistry. This permission to breathe and develop into new unexplored forms allows for unique interpretations that make each performance an intense, meditative and spiritual musical journey.

For the uninitiated, our Jazz Sunday events transform The Pickle Factory into a cosy late night jazz spot, replete with extra comfy seating, lush red drapes, hanging vintage lightbulbs and a bespoke cocktail menu.

Admission to The Pickle Factory is at management's sole discretion, pre-purchased tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting Oval Space after the event.
Tickets purchased through third party websites, where the ticket is not issued in your name are not accepted. You will need to present your ticket with photographic ID at the door. Entry will be denied to persons found with tickets not issued in their name.
