Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia (SIT) are going to be joining us this time around in Detroit! After their brilliant set at our party at Output a couple weeks ago, we can't wait for round two with the masterminds behind AMPHIA, this time under the sun!
Berlin-based Adam Parker aka Afriqua is the kind of artist that started playing piano at age five and was already doing DJ battles at ten. Eventually he applied to study at the Royal College of Music in London, where he had the chance to listen to one of Villalobos’s fabric sets, which undoubtedly got him hooked to the genre. Although Afriqua's first productions in the style were mostly minimal, he has recently been delving deeper into his own sound which draws a lot from his background as an educated musician. Melodies and complex harmonies, along with a meticulous production methodology have pushed him to the front lines of electronic music producers of this time. As he continues to develop as an artist in his home studio in West Berlin, he tours around the world gracing club-goers with impeccable sets. We’re excited to announce him as our surprise guest at this year’s edition of ReSolute Goes Detroit!
A pioneer of the minimal sound in the United States, Daniel Bell has put a stamp on some of the most sought out records in electronic music with his labels Accelerate, Elevate and 7th City. Influenced equally by the sonic elements of Chicago House as well as more abstract minimalist works of composers such as Steve Reich and Phillip Glass, Daniel Bell’s sophisticated and powerful sound matched with his down to earth personality has marked him as a ReSolute favorite for years now. Whether in New York, Detroit or any other city in the world, Daniel Bell always manages to match the moment with the necessary sounds.
