Those nutty Cubanos are back from a nice long tan-topping holiday, just long enough to play a special Sunday Best gig at 93 Feet Live before they jet off again on a tour of Australia in support of the release of their A to Z of the Cuban Brothers, out in the UK on 13 March and their single ‘A Million Stories’ out on 6 March.
Now if you’ve been living on the North Pole for the last few years and have no idea what the Cuban Brothers are like live, then let me explain... Their legendary performance combines music, which evolves with every show, riotous comedy, both physical and observational, and sensational dancing - consequently the energy at every show is incredible. Oh and they get naked! Well, sometimes. If they’re feeling slightly shy then you may just get some thong action! Also playing is Sunday Best impresario, Mr Rob da Bank with his trusty label signings Max Sedgley (of ‘Happy’ fame) and Lewis, from the amazing Kitty, Daisy & Lewis who totally blew everyone away at both Bestival and the Bestival party at Koko back in December. Both these artists have forthcoming releases due out on Sunday Best soon. And to top it all off we have the Sunday Best Allstars, which consists of Solid State Revival, Daisy Daisy (who likes a bit of Ping Pong), Subway, and the hat-loving Sombrero Sound System (and if you’ve never seen these guys actually trying to wear their Sombrero’s while playing around with their headphones, then you really need to get out more).
