- 40 years after its release, Eno's gorgeous Music For Airports will be brought back to life in Sydney's most iconic venue.
- The Alaska Orchestra make their Sydney Opera House debut, led by Megan Alice Clune, to combine electronic and acoustic sounds for this eclectic reimagining of Eno's 1978 experimental classic. The first album to be explicitly created as Ambient Music, Music for Airports starts us on a sonic journey to a calming destination. Designed to release the mind to wander, it is a creative powerhouse from the mind of a man at the forefront of musical creativity over the last five decades and the founding visionary curator for Vivid LIVE. Engage and explore Alaska Orchestra’s interpretation of this timeless classic as you observe the morphing life of the city on the water, framed by the floor to ceiling windows of the Utzon Room.
