The mutant-polymorphic-spirit-child known only as RAMZi left its home of the deep forests and chose Phoebé Guillemot as its human host many moons past, tasking itself with the protection of wildlife, the decimation of its enemies and the conquest of newlands. RAMZimakesitselfknowntoourworldasatropicalmusicgraduallyemerging,integratingelementsfromCaribbean music, jazz, dub, balearic and video game music, bringing to Jazz Fusion a second wind and to Fourth World music a Fifth World sound. Stubborn and protective, RAMZi is also a wild child warrior who enjoys squeezing birds and hanging out with their fluffy animal companions.
RAMZI's enigmatic territories are gradually revealed since 2013 through Phoebé's discography / eco travel agency. We can go notably on RAMZi's archipelago with the trilogy Phobiza; Phobiza 'Dia'' vol. 1 on Total Stasis following by Phobiza 'Noite' vol.2 on Mood Hut. The trilogy will be complete this year with Phobiza 'Amor Fati' vol.3, on FATi Records, Phoebé's own new label. Her last LP Pèse-Piton has been released on the label 12th Isle from Glasgow at the end of 2017 and is already at its 3rd repress. For 2018, Phoebé is planning to push collaborative projects with friends all over the world and reinforce the style of DJ FATi.
