The creative team behind NYC’s queer rave collective Unter is proud to present a new edition of their genre-stretching SPINOFF series: SPINOFF GABBER.
SPINOFF GABBER will explore the harder, faster, and more extreme fringes of dance music with a porty that traces a pummeling arc through the history of the hardcore continuum: from its origins in New York, Rotterdam and Belgium—soundtracking many international mid-90’s rave scenes from free parties to Thunderdome—to its reuptake in some of the most compelling and challenging queer and underground electronic music being made today. We’ve assembled a lineup of artists more than up to the task, gathering originators, dominators, and a new generation of experimenters to pound you into submission in a raw, intimate, never-before-used industrial-zone loft space perfect for the occasion.
