- For our arts festival foray into midweek territory we’re very pleased to hosting an all-irish family affair in the form of some high octane live sets from New Jackson and r.kitt and an all night DJ party with Barry Redsetta. New Jackson needs little introduction at this stage- he’s played the club twice before and has brought the heat each time. Kittser has had a string of great releases on Permanent Vacation, as well as a 5* album on All City and his live show is better than ever at the moment so we’re pumped to hear how it’ll go down on the mainfloor. Also on the bill in the big room is rkitt- the Dublin upstart has been gaining notoriety for his highly energetic live shows, which he’s brought to festivals like Other Voices and Body&Soul. The main guy is also a core member of DIP club night (if you haven’t been, go!) and has released some hot records on All City offshoot Pear and Dublin imprint Goldbricks in the last year. Bring your dancing shoes! Upstairs we’re pleased to welcome the return of Barry Redsetta. The Moycullen native has been key presence in Irish club land for the past 20 years or so- something which is evident in his impeccable taste and mixing. He’s also the brains behind Major Problems records- arguably Ireland’s finest label for forward thinking club music.
