Canyons dug by ice and caves of stone are turning into the natural stage where music & digital arts involve manifold plots of the most contemporary sonorities.
NeXTones put to the foreground the aesthetical and historical value of the extraction’s caves and draws inspiration from natural value of the places.
Under the Artistic Direction of Maddalena Calderoni, the festival proposes a event calendar of stunning and unrepeatable shows where the historic marble quarries on the mountains close to Lago Maggiore become a natural and spectacular stage.

NeXTones is the international festival of electronic music and digital arts born within the broad Tone on the Stones spectrum: 2018 sees the 5th edition, NeXTones | Beyond Music 6 Mountain, which offers a programme of music and audiovisual presentations exalted by the spectacular settings of the historic quarries and the primordial strength of stone.
Spaces in continual mutation sculpted and shaded by light and sound: music, art, digital technologies and nature combine to give rise to a wild exploration, suspended between space and time, rare and unforgettable. A magic as ancestral as it is futuristic.
From the shores of Lake Maggiore to the Val D’Ossola, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July 2018 will see an intensive programme of events flanking the shows and a series of activities and initiatives to Xperience immersed in nature, in order to stimulate the senses and explore new emotions and visions.
