On the 9th, we will give the control of 宀 to the prolific Hong Kong based label FGHB. They have placed Hong Kong on the electronic music production map and made us all proud by releasing on their label artists such as Borrowed Identity, Marquis Hawkes and General Ludd.
For its first takeover, FGHB. is inviting the very talented yet mysterious S.O.N.S.
S.O.N.S's melodic sound draws heavily from rave-era hardcore, UK intelligent techno, and second wave Detroit, and could have just as easily been made in 1991 as in 2018.
S.O.N.S maintains the ethos of this era by exclusively releasing music on his self-titled label, distributing his own records, and avoiding photos and press. His three records to date are highly prized, having experienced sold out runs and soaring Discogs prices.
