It's time for the knock – a thump, a clash, a blow. Let us ditch "normal", let us embrace the unknown, let us – at least for a moment – break away from the spectacle*. The knock shall be a monthly night of no compromises, no safe routes featuring somewhat like-minded yet utterly different disc jockeys that specialize in the outer areas of the box, so to speak.

The June programme of CTyK is following the same principle as in every of these monthly events thus also on this date it is probably one of the most diverse line-ups you'll get in... the Baltics? SMOOD came over for a night at the club's basement venue ONENDERGROUND in February this year, now Aleksi is to return with his individual vision and from what we've been hearing he is the selector that Riga needs right now – different moods and shifts from more club to less club, from up to down tempo. Aleksi will bring the vibe him and his people are creating in Helsinki – in places like Kaiku where the likes of Manfredas and Elena Colombi are just a couple of artists visiting in June. Aleksi is going to be joined by series curator Elvi Soulsystems as well as one of his team-mates at the event series KLIK KLAK – Lévi of the duo Lévi & Strauss (Strauss played the CTyK series a couple of months back). and of Aristīds.

Debord's 1973 film is to be screened in the Secret Room of the club throughout the night. Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA) has just released the first ever translation of the book as well – it is going to be available for reading and for purchase during the event.
