- I am extremely proud to present the first ever Musical Missionary charity fundraiser on Friday, August 14th. Ever since the first time I printed "Musical Missionary" on a flyer back in 2003 (my first party was Eddie Halliwell's first ever US gig in Dallas), my intention has been to raise money for charity. So finally, 6+ years later, my dream is starting to come true. All of my parties from now on will benefit charity in some way. The proceeds from this first party will go towards sponsoring an underprivileged child at SoBe Institute of the Arts. In other words, the money made from this party will allow an underprivileged child to take music lessons during the upcoming 17-week Fall season. 100% of the proceeds from this event, up to the $950 cost of a scholarship, will go to SoBe Arts. Giving the gift of music to underprivileged children is a cause that perfectly aligns with Musical Missionary's... umm, mission.
