vurtnight은 vurt.가 추구해 온 깊은 사운드를 온전히 느낄 수 있는 시그네이쳐 나잇으로써, 전 세계의 다양하고 깊이있는 딥 일렉트로닉/테크노 아티스트들을 초청하여 정기적으로 진행되고 있다.
6월 두번째 vurtnight의 주인공은 지난 2017년 vurtnight에 한 차례 초청되어 우리들을 딥 테크노의 매력에 흠뻑 빠져들게 만들었던 프랑스의 딥 테크노 아티스트 Von Grall 으로써, 지난 2월 발매된 첫 번째 풀-랭스 (full-langth) 앨범 ‘Infinitum (Horo / 2018)’ 릴리즈 투어의 일환으로 다시 서울을 방문하게 되었다. 이번 vurtnight에서는 그동안 vurt.를 통해 활동하며 자신만의 사운드를 다져 온 로컬 테크노 디제이 Koshin과 Djilogue가 각각 오프닝과 클로징 디제이로 함께 할 예정이다.
Von Grall (Semantica, HORO / France)
프랑스 파리를 중심으로 활동중인 Von Grall은 현대의 딥 테크노 씬에서 빼놓을 수 없는 인상적인 아티스트로써, 보다 깊은 자신만의 시그네이쳐 사운드를 뿜어내고 있다.
‘심오’, ‘몰입’, 그리고 ‘의식’과 같은 단어들은 VON GRALL의 음악을 표현할 수 있는 키워드들이며, 그는 탁월한 퍼포먼스를 통해 넓고 깊은 자신만의 세계를 표현해 낸다. SEMANTICA, MIDGAR 등의 저명한 딥테크노 레이블들에서 그동안 여러 EP앨범을 발표해온 VON GRALL은, 2018년 베를린의 HORO 레이블을 통해 데뷔앨범 ‘Infinitum’를 발표하였다.
French artist based in Paris, Von Grall is an emerging figure at the forefront of French contemporary techno scene. As a DJ Von Grall is full of unique characteristics and energy and as a producer his output has pushed him to the deeper and atmospheric frontier of techno.
Profound, immersive and ritualistic are the keywords summarising Von Gall's aesthetic and style. His each performance is unique while it carries a wide ranges of texture and richness that's truly unrivalled. After releasing a couple of EPs on few quality labels including Semantica Records, Von Grall released his debut LP 'Infinitum' on Horo in February 2018.
