Mit der Gründung ihres leicht ironisch auf die Feierwelt schauenden Labels Hippie Dance, schufen sich der Kölner Superpitcher und der aus Mexico stammende Rebolledo 2011 eine kleine Spielwiese für den eigenen musikalischen Output, die anfangs ihrem neu erschaffenen Alias Pachanga Boys vorbehalten sein sollte. Drei EPs und ein Album später hatten die beiden besonders mit der Hymne „Time“ weltweit dermaßen abgeräumt, dass sie die gemeinsamen Produktionen erstmal etwas auf Eis legten und sich, abgesehen von ihrem völlig überfüllten gemeinsamen Tour-Kalender, lediglich ausgewählten Remixen für Michael Meyer oder Röyksopp widmeten. Inzwischen sind mit Superpitchers zwölfteiligem Album „The Golden Ravedays“ und Rebolledos „Mondo Alterado“, sowie auf dem Sub-Label You and your Hippie Friends von Paulor und Sascha Funke einige frische Releases dazu gekommen. Gelüftet wird nun auch das Geheimnis um das Live-Set von Special Guest Fantastic Twins, die zur Abendstunde einmal mehr eine jubelnde Menge hinterlassen wird. Direkt im Anschluss übernehmen zur Prime Time die beiden Labelgründer nach ihrer vierjährigen Berlin-Abwesenheit für eine eklektische Mischung aus mystischen Rhythmen und trippigen Sounds auf mega funktionalen, leicht discoiden Beat-Gerüsten.
When Superpitcher and Rebolledo started their label Hippie Dance back in 2011, they just needed a platform for their own output under the moniker Pachanga Boys. Since the enormous success of the first releases which included hymns like “Time” and also a LP called “We are really sorry” the Pachanga Boys are still touring around the globe – but aside from a few remixes for artists like Röyksopp they stopped producing together. Later a sub-label named You and your Hippie Friends was created with new artists such as Paulor or Sascha Funke and of course the special guest Fantastic Twins, who will enter the stage once more with one of her stunning live acts. More fresh material came from the label heads themselves in the last two years; Superpitcher just released his “The Golden Ravedays” LP consisting of twelve (!) single EPs while Rebolledo’s album “Mondo Alterado” already earned lot of attention. Now they return to Berlin after a break of almost four years, playing the peak time outdoor with their somehow eclectic and always kind of mystic deepness based on proper disco and house grooves.
