Floorplay returns to Club NL following its huge 10th birthday anniversary celebration with Danny Howells. The organisation is back on July 28th with the Summer Ball, and bring in a special guest all the way from USA.
Spesh (Bedrock, Global Underground, Renaissance, Loöq) is based out of San Francisco and is one of the legends of the scene on the West Coast of America. He has run his Loöq label for many years, and also his weekly event of the same name in San Fran too.
Jondi & Spesh’s track We Are Connected catapulted his name into the collective consciousness of dance fans worldwide, and was huge for DJs right across the board, including John Digweed, with Bedrock’s frontman licensing it to a compilation.
Since then, Spesh has developed into an international talent, performing his deep yet enthralling DJ sets across Europe and North America. Back in his hometown of San Francisco, Spesh has quietly simmered away playing in virtually every venue the city has to offer, receiving the highest accolades from both the press and his peers.
Sparkes is in the midst of a busy summer at present, with gigs in Slovenia, Croatia, UK, Russia and USA all on the horizon.
