Many of us have seen the headlines referring to Lisbon as "Europe's hot new art capital" (or some other lazy generalisation intended to seduce ex-pats), but we don't often hear about the local artists who have helped build this lively and dynamic scene. Two years since we visited Lisbon with RA In Residence, we return for a weekend of happenings with our Community Connections series. For one week in July, we’ll celebrate and collaborate with a selection of local crews, labels and collectives who are doing great things for all the right reasons.
Launched in 2013, Radio Quantica is a response to the growing global network of grassroots broadcasters. To kick off the series, we curate an afternoon of local talent alongside Quantica heads Violet & Photonz, live from Village Underground Lisboa. After a wild party in November at Village Underground, it made sense for us to collaborate with them again on the closing of the week. Join us for a breezy Sunday afternoon session with a BBQ.
For the broadcast, we’ll be joined by Violet & Photonz, plus Caroline Lethô and Tombo on a back-to-back tip. At sunset, new Lisbon resident and R&S affiliate Bullion will perform an excerpt from his new live show.

Dois anos depois de visitarmos Lisboa com a RA in Residence, voltamos para um fim-de-semana de eventos com a nossa série Community Connections.
