Having picked up his first 12 inch 12 years ago James has been kicking it in club land around the globe!! Having spent most his teenage years growing up at the Ministry, learning his trade form his cuz, the then MOS resident, that “bloody nice bloke” Paul Jackson.
As time has passed the scene has progressed dramatically and so has James!
It all started way back in 1999 where James ran and held residency at London’s original after party deep in London’s Soho. ‘Soda’ at the legendary Madam Jo Jo’s!, was where it all began!!
Moving on a 10 years, James is busy in the studio as one half of production duo Red Eleven and A&R Assistant at the world renowned Defected records. ‘I Wanna Ft: Sandy Rivera’, Red Eleven’s first release, is due out later this year and has already been licensed to the latest Renaissance compilation. That aside, this guys priority is still to devastate any dance floor that he plays with a record collection that begs only one style, and that is simply quality!
Currently holding residencies for Halo, Sykotik Saturdays, SO.UK (Clapham) and touring worldwide with Kinky Malinki, James is a very busy man!!

DJ, producer and Eleven Recordings record label boss, Olli Collins looks set to slay the dancefloors with his upcoming debut album, Counting Electric Sheep, featuring 12 sonic blasts of electro grit mastered at Alchemy Studios, Soho. Like the bastard child of Modeselektor, Booka Shade and Slagsmalklubben (a love triangle not at odds with Collins eclectic and layered sound), Ollis debut offering features catchy funk-rock-tinged licks that would sit with aplomb on any Get Physical compilation.
In a career that has taken him from working as a sound engineer at Bagleys to resident DJ for MTV in Ibiza and stints at clubs including Space, The Cross, Ministry Of Sound and Pacha, Olli has become a widely respected DJ. Counting Electric Sheep grips the listener immediately with captive opener Rain; an electric storm, featuring the pitter-patter of rain interspersed with swathes of sub-bass and punchy electronic leads. The albums grip refuses to yield as the listener is taken through a journey of 11 more compelling tracks, featuring the superb Slug, Sundown and Dreamseeker that buzzes and glows, making this album the essential soundtrack to any after-dark excursion.
With Olli's tracks already featuring on compilations such as Sandy Rivera's 'Renaissance Masters Series' and Creamfields 07, and with many top remixes in the pipeline, it looks set to be a busy year for Olli punctuated by this bold, progressive and all-round foot-stomping release..
Olli worked with Sandy Rivera And James Jackson on a track called "I Wanna" under the name Red Eleven. This track featured on the Renaissance Masters Series compilation and is signed to Defected/Blackwizz. Olli & James also have two more Red Eleven Eps out on Eleven Recordings "Brainfreeze" & "Assault On Collins Avenue" and "Blue Ice" & "The Jaguar"
Olli has also just remixed Beyonce, Adam Ficek, Square 1 and Jeanette Biederman
