The world-renowned Kompakt records turns 25 this year. Launched in 1998 by Wolfgang Voigt, Jurgen Paape and Michael Mayer, Kompakt soon developed its signature “Cologne Sound” – a mix of minimalism, melody, and melancholy, often with an underlying pop sensibility.
Heading up the bill is head honcho Michael Mayer, an artist that has been releasing since 1997 and pushing the sound of Kompakt, being a staple point of the German electronic music scene.
With fellow labels mates Patrice Baumel who has been on the rise in the last few years, being resident of Bar 11 and Trouw Patrice has a style of his own and release plenty of top tracks on Kompakt's sister label Kompakt Extra. Barnt has been a staple of the Cologne music scene, running his Magazine imprint. Lastly we have new and upcoming talent and family member of Kompakt from London, Anii. Come and celebrate this milestone of one of Germany's biggest and most influential label in dance music.
