Sydney selector royalty Ben Fester joins us with young padawan Preacha by his side, promising a night of groovy music in the basement on July 28th.

Ben Fester is a Sydney selector who has been running the successful Heavenly parties for over three years now, and humbly flooring crowds in his own right. The pedigree of selectors that Fester has supported leaves no question about his prowess as a DJ.
His own branded Heavenly parties, and a wealth of others he’s played across the country, has seen him support the likes of: Floating Points, Jay Daniel, Omar S, Mr Ties, Sex Tags, Marcellus Pittman, Kyle Hall, Madteo, Ben UFO, Move D and many, many others.
He’s appeared at festivals including Outside In, Subsonic, Inner Varnika and Strawberry Fields where a particularly memorable moment included an impromptu b2b with Seth Troxler. Further to this, Fester has held a residency on Sydney’s FBi Click radio show for over a year, and also made his debut Boiler Room appearance in 2015.
Currently planning some overseas tours, as well as the release of his own music, Fester is constantly aiming to “play more good music, to all kinds of people in all kinds of places”.

Chris Muliartha (aka Preacha) is a stalwart in Sydney's underground.
His ability to mix seamlessly between hip hop, funk, soul, disco, house, techno and everything in between has sparked his steady rise through the ranks.
Preacha spent 3 years sculpting the city's tastes as a presenter on FBi Radio after cutting his teeth in clubs with the bass heavy Void crew.
Preacha has backed up international heavyweights such as Phuture, Robert Owens, Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Sadar Bahar, Omar S, Kyle Hall, DJ Rashad and Floating Points among others.
Increasingly in demand as a headliner, he's played at clubs and festivals across the country, spinning solo or back to back with longtime friend Ben Fester.
In 2014 the pair started their infamous weekly party Soul Control, booking Sydney's best DJs alongside the likes of Jay Daniel, Florian Kupfer, Alexander Nut and Fatima.
Known for keeping a low-profile, Preacha lets the music do the talking.

The venue has two levels to enjoy and we have carefully curated the music across both levels to take full advantage of this.
Understandably not everyone can be downstairs in The Underground level at the same time but if it's at capacity enjoy a drink and a dance upstairs at The Social and get back down as the club continues to flow throughout the night.
Both levels are fitted with world class Void Acoustic sound systems and our bars are licensed till 3am, with music carrying on until 4am.
