- We are excited to announce that for the ninth edition of our annual music festival we have worked in collaboration with Camae Ayewa (Moor Mother) and Paul Purgas (Emptyset) to develop a line-up that brings together some of the most exciting UK and international artists working today. A thread of mysticism and spiritual energy runs throughout the programme, weaving through sonic and performative works of great emotional and political power. Wysing Polyphonic aims to reveal and celebrate the hidden energies and potentiality that flows through us all. Camae Ayewa will be an artist-in-residence at Wysing in the summer of 2018 and Paul Purgas has been involved with Wysing’s festival since he first played it, in 2012. Both artists have contributed ideas to help shape the line-up which includes other artists who are in-residence at Wysing during 2018.
