Exploring synth-led techno and pop arpeggiations in the heart of Kreuzberg.
This night at Prince Charles, a former swimming pool, showcases the sounds of two Berlin-based artists known for their unique takes on nostalgic pop, murky techno and glittery synths. Marie Davidson has brought her live sets to clubs and festival stages around the world, armed with an arsenal of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, portable recorders and pedals. As heard on her recent LP Adieux Au Dancefloor on Veronica Vasicka’s Cititrax imprint, she blurs the lines between techno, Italo disco and gritty soundscapes. The night will also feature sounds from Copenhagen-via-Glasgow producer Solid Blake, Belgian-Italian producer/DJ duo Front de Cadeaux and Berlin synth master and composer Eva Geist.
