Red Bull Music’s ongoing global series Culture Clash is back for a very special German edition at Red Bull Music Festival Berlin. Inspired by Jamaican sound clash tradition, Culture Clash celebrates sound system culture by creating a musical battleground where four different crews from four different genres compete for the loudest response from the crowd. On deck at Velodrom will be Jugglerz, internationally renowned clash-specialists and hitmakers for the likes of Bausa and KMN Gang; Betty Ford Boys AKA Suff Daddy, Dexter and Brenk Sinatra, three key figures of the local beatmaking scene; Die Achse (Farhot & Bazzazian), known for their adrenaline-fueled sounds, visuals and shows; and Revolution No 5, consisting of New York rapper Cakes da Killa, DJ duo Sick Girls, Vienna cloud rap-duo $chwanger & G-udit and Berlin collective Hoe__mies. Expect surprise guests and dubplates galore as each team vies for the crowd’s support. You can already count on the following special guests to up the ante: Peaches, Mayer Hawthorne, Miami Yacine, Nimo and GRiNGO. Let the games begin!
