- Berlin house icon Dixon plays alongside an international roster of Academy participants. For the past two decades, Dixon has been an essential element in the fabric of Berlin nightlife. From countless residencies and club nights to the founding of label Innervisions, Dixon has consistently carved out a space for house music in the city. To celebrate 20 years of the Red Bull Music Academy and 20 years of Berlin’s rich musical history, Red Bull Music Festival presents a special set from the local hero in company with an international roster of participants. Taking over two rooms at Ballhaus Rixdorf, the first will feature an extended set from Dixon alongside sounds from emerging DJ in the Barcelona electronic scene, Ylia and irresistible beats from Lisbon’s Caroline Lethô. The second will highlight the pulsing rhythms of Montréal via Tehran DJ and producer ArtSaves, dark soundscapes from South Korea’s chawood and a live performance from Warsaw-based industrial techno producer, VTSS.
