Local collectives Room 4 Resistance and No Shade take over Griessmühle.
Join us for a special takeover of Neukölln’s Griessmühle by Berlin-based collectives Room 4 Resistance and No Shade. The two-floor, multi-room event will showcase a high-octane roster of queer, femme and non-binary DJs. Founded as a way to create safer spaces and visibility for the underrepresented, Room 4 Resistance has been challenging the status quo of dancefloor politics since 2014. In a similar fashion, No Shade provides training and hosts club nights for female, non-binary and trans DJs in Berlin. As part of Red Bull Music Festival Berlin, the two groups in collaboration will present an international lineup featuring London’s Debonair and Manara, Detroit’s Whodat, San Francisco’s Doc Sleep, Mexico City’s Derre Tida, Berlin’s own Luz and more.
