We’re buzzing with excitement to rekindle the flame with our good pals from Culprit to present the electronic music icon Mano le Tough.
You probably know Mano le Tough as the eclectic musical mastermind behind the label Maeve, or as the private and rather reclusive artist who unleashes melodic dance floor weapons in dark, mystical, but nonetheless infamous spaces in every corner of the world such as Lux Fragil, DC-10, Panorama Bar, Printworks, Robert Johnson and Fuse. His breakthrough as one of the most acclaimed dj/producers of today is owed to his keen attention to every nitty gritty detail, a full dedication to his musical artistry, and finally the rave playground that is Berlin which enabled him to test and tweak his craft on unsuspecting crowds that have all contributed to the present day Mano le Tough - the creative genius we know and love. Recent soundscapes by the producer tend to favor the more melodic and emotive frequencies of dance music, giving Innervisions fanatics and guys like Dixon & Ame a run for their money - but it’d be wrong to place his productions in just one genre box, the man has plenty more tricks up his sleeve.
Joining Mano le Tough will be our hometown heroes and Culprit founders, Droog. The trio has earned credit where it’s due, and have managed to make an impressive name for themselves in the international scene. Droog’s forward thinking take on dance music has landed them bookings across the globe at Space, Fabric, Watergate and beyond. You can expect them to bring something special to their own party on the 27th.
