The Modularz label boss groomed a sound that might best be described as auditory brutalism – angular and functional, sculpted with a close adherence to technological advances in the studio and inspired by a highly coveted compendium of techno and house vinyl. Given that Developer is known for pounding through more than 40 records per hour, with relentless precision, on 3 turntables, heads can expect to be propelled directly into the techno rabbit hole by the 20+ year veteran. We could not be more enthused to welcome Developer, in pure form, for SEQUENCE’s 19th installment. Joining him from NYC by way of Moscow is Monday Off label head and Unter resident Mary Yuzovskaya. Mary is truly a scene-star of East Coast techno as her records regularly sell out in shops while her techno sets decimate dancefloors at spaces like Output, Elsewhere, and Tresor.
