Sat Oct 13 - The South London Soul Train once again turns things up to 11 and take no prisoners, as your host with the absolute most JAZZHEADCHRONIC welcomes special guest DJ AJ KWAME and one of the USAs filthiest, funkiest 21st century R&B groups, the simply outstanding BAD RABBITS (LIVE). Truly Psyched for this!!! As Interview magazine so succinctly put it “Bad Rabbits have carved out a niche thanks to their unique musical fusion: a contemporary latticework of sound ranging from tireless rock ballads to funk sodden tracks reminiscent of the likes of Prince.” Time to truly get Funked up at The CLF Art Cafe.

LEVEL 1 - BAD RABBITS [LIVE]
Since their emergence in 2007, Bad Rabbits have lit up the stage with everyone from Kendrick Lamar, The Roots, Wu-Tang Clan, Steve Aoki, Common, Allen Stone and John Legend to Deftones, Passion Pit, Paramore, 311 and Taking Back Sunday and has embarked on several North American and international headlining tours which have included many festivals including Reading, Leeds, Wireless, Bestival, Roots Picnic, Boston Calling and Afropunk as well as the Vans Warped Tour.

LEVEL 2 - Funks gonna hit the fan, as rare 45" vinyl junkies, The Legendary SNOWBOY + Mighty BEN GIBSON drop more of the platters that absolutely still matter and wait for the sweat to fall. The finest selections in groove and downright nastiest in Funk, served up and delivered hard and direct to the dancefloor. ALL NIGHT LONG.
Then on LEVEL 3 - Time to enter The REACH UP DISCO WONDERLAND. Legendary DJ ANDY SMITH + NICK HALKES & CRISSY KYBOSH dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as 'Paradise Garage’ & 'Studio 54’. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. Get down!
The South London Soul Train 4 Floor Line up completed in the RYE WAX BASEMENT with THE HAWAIIAN BOP TRIP. Your retrolicious host RICHIO SUZUKI joined by leading French 45 slinger WINSTON SMITH + Bophead OSCAR ROMP for an epic strictly retrolicious Rock & Roll, 50's R N' B, 60's Soul & Motown, Vintage Ska & Latin journey from the love side. Aloha baby!

The South london Soul Train - As always, All floors will be taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.
However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this ones for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.
The SLST Runs 10pm - 5am / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD / Takes place on The 1st, 2nd + 3rd Sat of each month + on-going specials at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org and beyond + last Sat of most months at Omeara London.
