From here at Crown Ruler & Heavenly HQ we’re over the moon to announce that on Friday 28th of September 2018, 2 of our favourite Detroit dons - Theo Parrish and Marcellus Pittman - are joining us to throw down for all night at Jam Gallery.
As you heads are probably aware, Sound Signature is a household name far and wide for dance music fans of an extensive demographic, and 2018 cracks 20 years of the label’s existence. It’s 1998-born iconic cursive stamp marks Theo Parrish’s legendary catalogue of techno, deep house, broken-beat, disco edits and spiritual jazz (to scratch the surface), and has continued to pioneer as a source of black music exploration with utmost sincerity. From Sound Sculptures to Ugly Edits, the melodic corners of the Rotating Assembly & the eminent all-star 3 Chairs, Sound Signature is home to Theo’s impressive collection of original productions & collaborations, along with an unwavering determination to tell the stories of Detroit with releases from his brother in creation Marcellus Pittman, Omar S, Alton Miller, Jay Daniel, Byron The Aquarius & many more.
Representing home turf are Heavenly Soundsys, to ensure the floor is warmed up the right way. Tickets on sale from Monday 13th August from midday – snap them up before they get got!
