On Saturday 27th October Maya Jane Coles & Friends will showcase a gathering celebrating the diversity of London’s clandestine nightlife. Inviting respected peers and fellow creative powerhouses to play alongside her.
With a style all of her own and refusing to be conformist, Maya Jane Coles has always swam against the tide. She doesn’t follow trends, she sets them. As a frequent collaborator, we have watched closely as this artist has grown into her own skin. Fearless, pioneering and bold, MJC is an artist in the truest sense of the word. Possessing multi-disciplines that transcend music and overlap into the world of visual art and fashion, few contemporaries embody the haunting creativity that Old Hallow’s Eve conjures. This is why Maya is the perfect hostess for a Halloween party that puts music and freedom of expression at the centre its celebration.
She is joined by a fellow leading female tour de force, is fast becoming the embodiment of techno’s future. With her porcelain doll complexion and lip piercing, Belgian Charlotte de Witte cuts an iconic figure. Possessing an unflinching kick drum, distorted vocals and a penchant for the acid, CDW will be bringing her seismic beats to E1 - capable of testing the soundsystem to its limits.
Wax Wings is the third name down. Raised on a diet of grunge and post-punk and drawing on inspiration from androgynous pop artists, Wax Wings’ eerie bass-driven sounds will feel right at home on Halloween. Another artist unafraid to tread his own path.
Finally, ABSOLUTE. completes the billing in The Warehouse. A burgeoning talent being nurtured by Tiga and already remixing for MJC and KDA - the adopted Londoner is readying to show his hometown why he’s so highly regarded.

In the Black Studio, things will be taken into dark territory by Matthew Dear’s techno alias, Audion. By his own admission, it is under this guise and the cover of darkness, where our shapeshifter can explore different sounds and shy away from his accessibility. No doubt he’ll be occupying the shadows on Halloween.
Alongside him, stands La Fleur - the latest Swedish electronic music artist to be turning heads across the house and techno board. As a resident of Watergate, she is incumbent at one of the most revered dancefloors on the planet. On the production front, she continues to grow in stature, with releases on Truesoul, KDIS and her own Power Plant Records.
This will be dark, decadent and novel affair on the spookiest night of the year.
