- Blueprint & Summerlove present: Labour Day Long weekend - Spring Sunday Sesh - Harbour side! Our last three day parties sold out and filled Watson’s bay hotel, Cruise bar and Cafe Del Mar! As the weather warms up in Sydney we are back at Cafe Del Mar to bring you a Spring Sunday Sesh with a truly epic line up of DJs and live performers on pristine sound systems overlooking the amazing harbour! OUR FEATURED GUEST; Ashley Casselle makes spacey house & techno and modern disco. As half of UK electronica act Ashtrax he received attention and plaudits from both sides of the Atlantic in the Noughties, creating atmospheric house music & breakbeats in turn helping pave the way for his equally diverse and musical djing style to find an international arena, leading to dream slots and performances at the world's top clubs and festivals whilst recording for labels such as Junior Boys Own and Deviant Records. As a solo artist he's now evolved his sounds further and settled upon simply using his own name (or just the surname) Finding the ultimate point where a diverse set of influences can collide in harmony is his primary directive. Perhaps not many producers could argue that Brian Eno, Boards of Canada & The Smiths' richly layered and nuanced melodies could merge sweetly with the classic house of Ron Trent or earthy techno of Carl Craig, yet this is what he strives for in his productions on, most recently, English imprint Murge Recordings. An artist album by Casselle will be released in Summer 2019.
