Once again raising funds for the amazing MMT / Dream Big Ghana foundations. MMT is a not-for-profit fundraiser festival in the Volta region of Ghana. All proceeds from the festival go directly to Dream Big Ghana, a project which works intimately with village communities on sanitation, healthcare, education and youth sports and musical development projects. All money raised from this event will go directly towards the cause. *** Lineup and Info: We are delighted to be returning to The Depot in Clapton for a very special Day and Night Party to end the summer in style. Joining the party on the lineup is Netherlands Afrocentric and worldwide rhythm inspired duo UMOJA. Establishing in 2011, Umoja have come a long way, boasting a vast collection of unique tasteful edits and stomping original productions. The duo encompass musical elements from all areas of the globe bringing their own contemporary, electronic, and utterly unique slant on combining international rhythms and global grooves. Alongside Umoja we have Dimension’s DJ Directory’s Harri Pepper. Coming onto the scene with Stamp The Wax, Harri has shown his ability to get crowds going at a multitude of international festivals and events, with a tasteful collection from soulful grooves to no-nonsense party starters. We will also be lucky enough to have support from Poly-Ritmo (Sounds of the Universe). Poly is known to bring her fine collections of global music, encompassing all things jazz, soul, disco, afro-beat and beyond, and will be sure to get your feet moving. Resident DJ, producer and party starter Nala will also be supporting. Not only does he guarantee to make the dance floor shake, Nala has also been putting out countless Afro-infused edits over the past year, with some very exciting releases ahead of him. Further support from residents Bood’nBone. *** Finally not only are we bringing you an incredible lineup of music to move to, the bar will be hosted by MeetMeThere Cocktail Spot who will be providing delicious world inspired cocktails at prices unrecognisable to the streets of London, with happy hour deals from 3-6PM.
