- As announced a few weeks back, we will welcome a new Saturday night resident at the start of October, successor to HAAi's incredible 2 year stint in the coveted role. From October 06, South African DJ and producer Esa will play all night long every Saturday. For someone relatively unknown in London clubland, Esa already has an arsenal of noteworthy achievements behind him: his incredible work as bandleader of Ata Kak, a debut EP release on the Dutch imprint Dekmantel, and his fortnightly radio show on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM. All of which showcase the breadth of the Cape Town artists far-reaching musical roots. Join us for a new chapter in Phonox's history. Doors for the bar open from 9:30pm, DJ starts at 10pm.
