Roska’s RKS has been pushing UK Funky actively for a decade - promoting cutting edge music that holds a widespread crossover appeal. With a back-catalogue of 91 releases and counting, the label isn’t showing any signs of slowing down with artists like Motu and Roska himself being the main contributors.
Nervous Horizon was created and organised by producers TSVI and Wallwork, Nervous Horizon is slowly becoming a defining imprint in the ever growing London expanse. The collective are constantly building a heavyweight name for their UK inspired sound.
Their back catalogue includes a bulk mass of low toned stompers and experimental slammers, with releases from global artists including Da Soul Boyz from South Africa & DJ Missdevana from the Netherlands.
Even the Strong (aka ETS) was started by NKC in January 2016 as a clubnight in a warehouse in north London, organised with help from everyone in Her Records.
Launched as a label at the end of 2017, ETS represents the 'hard drum' sound that developed at the night and among artists and DJs working in similar sonic terrain - from Dublin to Mexico City to LA and beyond.
Expect stripped back drum techno and hard as percussive house, saturated with honest rave spirit and real public energy.
More Time Records started in March 2017, founded by SNØW (aka 1/2 of Jus Now) and Ahadadream.
The label is built around drum-focused club music that takes cues from Dancehall, Afrobeats, Azonto and more, but also acts as a platform for the music of young up and coming producers making UK Funky. Their biggest project to date is the forthcoming debut album of rising Ghanaian rapper, Bryte and other contributors include Mina, Cardinal Sound, DJ Polo Blasé Vanguard amongst more.
