After a break over summer, The Caro Project is back bringing you stand out artists from across the electronic music scene. We are excited to announce this year we will now be hosting parties in Manchester as well as Brighton!
For the MCR Launch, we are keeping it MANCHESTER as we take the next step in the project. In this first edition of a series of parties we welcome the notorious Ruf Kutz label boss Ruf Dug with support from Two Tail and the Welsh Bob Ross!

Ruf Dug brings analogue heat, weirdness, expensive records, 50p bangers and a HEAVY VIBE to the party.
A regular guest at Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section, Houghton and Gottwood, DJs from Moodymann to Ben UFO to Midland to Gilles Peterson reach for his tracks on a diaspora of labels. His monthly NTS radio shows are an education in sound where he displays his outrageous depth of musical knowledge, knack of finding the right tune whilst having a laugh.
Ruf Dug’s sound is tough to pigeonhole. From the dirtiest cassette techno through the smoothest street soul to tropical island beats; from sensual sunset ambiences through late night peakers to burned out boogie – Ruf Dug joins dots like none other. Two Tail
A born-and-bred Mancunian, he was scouted to DJ in clubs long before he was old enough to visit them as a punter. He’s an accomplished producer in his own right, with vinyl pressings from Shadow City, Ad Hoc and Dansu Discs. He also finds time to run Outsourced Collective, a group of like-minded producers that stretches from Europe to America to Mexico and beyond.

The Welsh Bob Ross
He will bless the decks for the first time under this alias. After gaining notoriety in Nottingham running the famous Dojo nights he moved to Manchester last year and joins the residents team at Caro. Taking inspiration from the soothing tones of the legendary TV painter he is named after, he will bring the groovers and build the right foundations for the artists to follow!
