As a masked mechanic of careening percussive blows, SDX delivers the latest tether to Dusk & Haze’s growing monolith. He travels from Berlin to administer a hefty dose of distortion, disturbing the balance of your brain chemicals. SDX’s most recent touch down in New York was a memorable one, leaving attendees swaying feverishly into the morning.
The duo of fiendish delights, 138, bring their rhythmic affliction to Brooklyn on the heels of an explosive remix of SDX’s ‘MS 04’. These two embody sonic contortion, as though an extension of their person wires them as a single entity. As an energetic and circuit driven team, they will cause a serious disruption from start to finish.
As Donor’s alter ego, SC-164 employs a much different tactic to the same end. He stashes patterns within a more electro big room energy, with ulterior grit. This appeals to a different side of SDX’s output with his take on a track with a less uniform texture. Make no mistake, this is a new flavor on on an American techno legend.
