Riobamba is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and cultural activist. She's also the founder of the label and creative agency Apocalipsis, a member of the Discwoman collective and co-host of the monthly "Bien Buena" show on Red Bull Radio.
Matias Aguayo is a Chilean-born, Berlin-based musician and DJ. He uses his voice in both endeavors to engrossing effect, and draws influence from around the globe to create a groove that is as idiosyncratic as it is inescapable.
Justin Strauss is one of NYC's best and longest-serving DJs. He's presided over the city's dance floors for nearly four decades, all the while creating a body of work as a producer and remixer that is impressive, to say the least (he's got well over 200 records under his belt and has worked with Depeche Mode, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner and Jimmy Cliff). To put it mildly, he's a staple of the New York dance scene.
With these three at the helm, we're in for quite a ride.

Nowadays is an indoor and outdoor gathering place on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We've got a full bar, a kitchen, a nice sound system, a wood dance floor and lots of trees and house plants.
Most of the time, it's free to come to Nowadays, but we do have a cover for some of our nighttime events. If there's a cover but you're a little tight on dough, you can buy early bird tickets on RA, or RSVP for reduced entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp
