Nowadays residents Jacky Sommer and DatKat (known collectively as Analog Soul) return to the ’days to take us on another journey into the deep. The twin sisters relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to New York in the early aughts, launched their weekly Analog Soul show on East Village Radio shortly thereafter and have been staples of the city's dance underground ever since.
Joining them is Detroit's Norm Talley. Norm's DJ journey began in the early ’80s, when he was a kid saving money from his paper route to buy records. These days, he's a veteran selector and producer with an extensive discography that includes releases on Third Ear, Dockside Records, Tsuba and, most recently, Omar S's FXHE label. He joins forces with Jackie and Kat to cut a deep groove through house, disco, techno, acid and electro.

Nowadays is an indoor and outdoor gathering place on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We've got a full bar, a kitchen, a nice sound system, a wood dance floor and lots of trees and house plants.
Most of the time, it's free to come to Nowadays, but we do have a cover for some of our nighttime events. If there's a cover but you're a little tight on dough, you can buy early bird tickets on RA, or RSVP for reduced entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp
