It’s party people in the house each and every Friday night down here. Strictly the cutest club vibes and the sickest sounds - from dusty, funk bombs to slamming, tribal screamers and back again. We’re out here from 10pm until the dance is done...
Most Friday's are led by our resident DJs - sometimes on their own, sometimes with a guest - and every now and again we'll give the decks over to a favorite DJ of ours to run things from beginning to end. Here's some info on how it'll play out tonight:

Antal is co-founder of the hallowed record label and shop Rush Hour, so it follows that he has a longstanding passion for discovering incredible records — and the collection to prove it. He's also got a propensity for playing sets that cover a lot of ground, both stylistically and geographically, and he's been doing it long enough (nearly two and a half decades) to make a sharp left turn feel like a lane change. House, afrobeat, Japanese disco, acid, soca, techno, kwaito — you're likely to hear all that and more in this all-night set.

Nowadays is an indoor and outdoor gathering place on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We've got a full bar, a kitchen, a nice sound system, a wood dance floor and lots of trees and house plants.
Most of the time, it's free to come to Nowadays, but we do have a cover for some of our nighttime events. If there's a cover but you're a little tight on dough, you can buy early bird tickets on RA, or RSVP for reduced entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp
