- Nathan Micay(aka Bwana) has arrived in 2018. Following EP’s over the last two years for Aus Music and his acclaimed ‘Capsule’s Pride’ Akira tribute LP for Lucky Me in 2016, the young Canadian’s output seems to have reached another level this year. His recent single ‘First Casualty’ on Whities has already been touted as a potential track of the year by the press and major DJ’s alike. Likewise, his vinyl only label Schvitz Edits has had back to back sell outs on its first two releases. Not one to be content, Micay still has plenty more to come this year, with rumours of an album starting to surface as well as an EP on American institution ESP Institute. As a DJ, he has only added fuel to the fire with a steady stream of gigs across the globe while maintaining strong relationships with key clubs such as fabric London, Panorama Bar in Berlin and Circus Tokyo. With so much in the pipeline, the sky is certainly the limit for this young Canadian upstart.
